Val Ries has held a variety of upper level management positions that made her excited when working with her team, and simultaneously mortified when she watched how others led. After obtaining her MBA and coaching certification, she began working with clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises, helping them turn around low morale, engagement, and productivity. Val has helped hundreds of people maximize their leadership effectiveness. Inspired to teach other managers best leadership practices, she started Executive Muse. Val is known to build fast rapport, get to the root of challenges, and shift results quickly. She loves her kids, husband, friend’s puppy, and the occasional workout on the dance floor.
